We have decided to take the plunge and take part in the 5K Big Fun Run at Holyrood Park, Edinburgh on the 23rd October 2011!  We or should I say "I" will be putting on my running shoes and go faster stripes in aid of the amazing charity Aviation Without Borders, whom are dedicated to providing humanitarian assistance through aviation services irrespective of politics, religion, race or nationality.

Their amazing work consists of basically 4 activities - Smiling Days which are aviation discovery fun days in the UK for children with disadvantages; Child Escorting escorting of sick children by air to and from the UK for treatment; Air Cargo Shipments of medical and other humanitarian supplies; and Aircraft Missions which include plans to operate a small fleet of light aircraft for humanitarian missions in Africa.
